VAG MULTILINK TOP SUSPENSION BOLT DRILL OUT KIT
For drilling out the top suspension bolt on aluminium & steel steering knuckles.
Due to location and exposure to water and salt, the top suspension bolt becomes severely corroded, making removal extremely difficult if not impossible. Twisting and hammering can cause further damage to the bolt and in some cases the steering knuckle clamps be snapped off. The adjustable jig is clamped around the steering knuckle and allows the technician to accurately drill the centre of the bolt on the vehicle. Once the bolt has been drilled, a vibration gun is used to remove the final section and cleaning bushes remove corrosion & debris ready for the new bolt to be fitted.
