CLAMP BOLT THREAD REPAIR SET M8

This thread repair kit is designed for the renewal of damaged injector clamp bolt threads without the need to remove the cylinder head. Using the special titanium nitride coated drill, the original hole is opened up to the correct size, preparing the hole for the installation of a new self-tapping threaded insert. The special setting tool then screws the threaded insert into place, cutting its own thread for a stronger hold, restoring the thread quickly and securely.

Suitable for thread repairs with cylinder head still mounted.
