The glow plug location on these BMW engines are situated at awkward angles, making drilling accurately extremely difficult.
When the top nut sheers and the glow plug requires drilling, this extraction set has been specially designed with long reach tool holders and a drilling jig which bolts onto the cylinder head. This allows the technician to drill, tap and extract the glow plug extremely accurately on the vehicle.
