MERCEDES BROKEN GLOW PLUG REMOVAL SET OM651, M8X1 & M10X1
The glow plug location on the Mercedes OM651 engines are situated deep down in narrow shafts and at awkward angles, making drilling accurately extremely difficult.
When the top nut sheers and the glow plug requires drilling, this extraction set has been specially designed with long reach tool holders and a drilling jig which bolts onto the cylinder head. This allows the technician to drill, tap and extract the glow plug extremely accurately on the vehicle.

Steps:
* Removal of the centre electrode
* drill out glow plug thread
* Tap thread into glow plug body
* Screw in extraction spindle & remove glow plug body
* Clean glow plug thread
* Clean shaft and install new glow plug
