UNIVERSAL M8x1 & M10X1 GLOW PLUG THREAD REPAIR SET

This set can be used to try and restore the existing glow plug thread in the cylinder head using the M8x1 or M10x1 guided taps if the thread is no too damaged.

If the thread is beyond repair, the reamer is used to remove the damaged thread, a larger thread is then cut into the cylinder head and a special insert is fitted. The new glow plug can now be installed.

Replacement inserts are available separately.
